Anna is a composer, songwriter and musician.
A central element of her work is the emotional relationship between the audience and the story. Her main focus is on supporting the narrative whilst connecting a layer of dense atmospheres and emotive compositions.
Her years of experience as a live performer are strongly implemented in the creative process, adding an intuitive touch to her sound, resonating with immediacy.
Anna is a graduate of Popkurs at the Academy of Music and Theatre in Hamburg and UK’s National Film & Television School, where she received an MA in Composing for Film and Television. She is living and working in Hamburg and London, composing for motion picture and theatre.
Anna collaborates with Antù Romero Nunes, Johanna Witt, Jette Steckel and Armin Petras at Thalia Theater Hamburg, Dramaten/Stockholm, Schauspielhaus Bochum, Münchner Kammerspiele and Theater Basel. Her work in film has been screened at numerous Festivals such as London Film Fest, Sheffield Doc Fest, Annecey Animation Film Fest, Edinburgh Film Festival and Chicago International Film Festival.
